Initial Resume Submission
Submit your resume through the Candidate Submission link. Along with your resume, you will be required to create a short user profile.
One of our executive recruiters will thoroughly review your background within three days of your resume submission. If you meet our candidate criteria, your resume will be reviewed by all Solution Marketing recruiters at our weekly staff meeting. There, your skill set and experience profile will be compared with our current job openings.
If there is an immediate connection between your resume and one or more of our open positions, we will call you to discuss your background as it relates to the position(s) at hand.
- If a solid connection is established between your background and the job requirements, we will bring you into our office for an initial interview.
- If no relationship is made between your background and any of our open positions, we will file your resume by category in an electronic folder to reflect your specialties. Once it is filed, your resume will be saved permanently in our system, and should be updated each time you change jobs or your contact information changes.
The Interviewing Process
Interviewing With Solution Marketing
Once you have met with one of our Executive Recruiters, we will be able to better determine whether there is a personality fit with the corporate culture of the hiring company. We will bring you into our office for about 45 minutes to an hour to discuss your background as it relates to one or more of our current searches. If we feel you are appropriate for the position – both on paper and in person – we will submit your resume to our client with a Personal Bio.
Your Personal Bio: When we submit your resume to our clients, we include a personal bio to highlight your skills and experience as they pertain to the client’s open position. You should write the bio in 3rd person, and it should be about two paragraphs long. We will send you an example bio, and you can use the job description for the position at hand as a guide. Once we have received your bio, we can send in your resume for client feedback.
Interviewing With the Hiring Company
If our client is interested in meeting with you in person, we will set up a mutually agreeable time for an initial appointment. Each client has a different interviewing system. There will normally be a series of interviews, beginning with the HR department and the Hiring Manager, and ending with the key members of the Sales or Marketing Department.
Solution Marketing will work with you to prepare for your interviews and we will take care of all scheduling with the client. Once the client has interviewed the most desirable candidates, they will normally choose to invite the top two candidates back for final interviews. Solution Marketing will take care of all negotiation regarding salary and benefits, we will check your references, and we will send you the final version of the offer letter to be signed.
